Equipment configuration

The equipment includes the following:

• Plasma-cathode electron gun;
• Discharge power supply;
• Magnetic lens (focusing lens and deflection coils) supply;
• High-voltage supply (accelerating voltage supply);
• Automatic control system of the gun parameters.

All units are assembled in the control cabinet 19”; its dimensions are 800x600x1200 mm. The height of the cabinet varies according the type of high-voltage supply.

Basis technical specifications

The microcontrollers Cortex 3M are used in automatic control system.

All directives are transferred form the control device, made of computer program compatible with the Windows.

Control device can be duplicated on a remote controller.

Power supply equipment can be completed with some additional systems, such as a surface imaging system and automatic beam pointing on weld joint system.
